ODDS: 2.02  –  BET365

In what should be an interesting match, many Bundesliga fans will havea close eye on Werder Bremen against Hertha Berlin. An entertaining match with plenty of goals is expected here considering both teams have played seven Bundesliga matches so far this season and none of the matches has had less than three goals.

With exactly four goals on an average per match, only Dortmund’s matches have more goals than Werder Bremen`s. They have scored twelve and conceded sixteen goals so far, 5/7 matches have ended with over 3.5 goals and it is therefore highly unlikely that they will not score and concede goals this match. It is comforting that seven of their goals come from open play, which means they are good at creating chances and they don’t waste many big opportunities. With three goals scored from corners and five conceded they also show that they are dangerous and vulnerable on set pieces which also could be a good factor for us here.

Hertha Berlin’s average of goals per match in Bundesliga is not as high as Werder Bremen’s but with twelve scored goals and twelve conceded their average is still very high with 3.4 goals an average per match. Like their opposition, Hertha is also creating many chances and are not wasting them. Every sixth shot they have has ended in the back of the net so far and 11 of their goals are from open play. Hertha has had three matches with over 3.5 goals and two of them were the two last matches they played, a 3-1 win against Dusseldorf and a 4-0 win against FC Koln.

Seeing how many goals both teams are scoring and conceding and that the majority of them are from open play is pretty comforting. The scenario we see here is a match where both teams will play their game and focus more on their own attack than their oppositions. We expect this will lead to an open match with plenty of goals. And as mentioned, none of these teams has had any matches with under three goals so far in Bundesliga this season. 14/14 matches have finished with over 2.5 goals and 8/14 has finished with over 3.5 goals. With this in mind, we are sure we have an edge here and that the odds will drop.
